Parent Information - After School Sport

After school sport is available to all students from year 2 with the exception of netball which is available from the end of year 1 (term 4) in the summer season, for students turning 8 by 31 December of the following calendar year.

Trinity Gardens School encourages all students to participate in sporting activities and looks forward to your child nominating and being part of a Trinity Gardens School team.

School sport is an opportunity for all students to ‘have a go’ regardless of skill level and experience. It is important to remember that although we want our teams to be competitive and successful, it is equally important to have fun!  The emphasis is on enjoyment, involvement and being physically active.

At Trinity Gardens School we rely on the generosity of our parents/caregivers in volunteering their time to coach and manage sports teams.  Without you we cannot enter teams into competitions.  Please support your child by offering to coach if you can, or by supporting coaches by offering to manage a team, assisting with training, scoring on game day, or even just bringing the oranges!

For up to date information regarding the sports offered and to find nomination information, please access the Skoolbag App.

Our school looks forward to you and your child being part of our wider after school sport community.
